Function
VDAL is a purely natural plant biostimulant built around Verticillium dahlia Asp-f2 like protein.
It modulates crop metabolism and gene expression, enhancing photosynthesis and increasing chlorophyll content to promote seed germination and seedling vigor, driving significant yield improvement. It also regulates galactose and glucose biosynthesis and key enzyme genes in starch and soluble sugar metabolic pathways, improving fruit quality (Brix, color, flavor).
In addition, VDAL activates the plant's own immune system through systemic acquired resistance (SAR) and induced systemic resistance (ISR), strengthening resistance against a broad spectrum of fungal and bacterial diseases, while increasing crop tolerance to drought, cold, salinity, and UV stress helping plants stay resilient and productive under adverse conditions.
Features
- Growth & Yield Enhancement: Extends photosynthetic activity, improves light utilization, and enhances sugar accumulation, improving color and flavor
- Better Seed & Root Development: Accelerates germination for faster, more uniform sprouting; develops deeper, denser root systems for stronger field establishment
- Improved Stress Tolerance: Increases tolerance to drought, flooding, cold, and salinity; mitigates phytotoxicity from chemical treatments, herbicide drift, or nutrient excess
- Natural Immune Activation: Doesn't kill pathogens directly — instead primes plant defense pathways (PTI/ETI), producing defensive enzymes and protective compounds while reducing the risk of resistance development, making it ideal for IPM programs
- Broad Crop Versatility: Suitable for vegetables, fruits, cereals, and ornamentals
- Flexible Application: Can be used as a seed treatment, root dip, or early-stage foliar spray, and is compatible with existing fertilization programs
