One of Pherobio's monitoring sites in Ningxian County, Gansu Province got its first catch of the spreading Fall armyworm - Spodoptera frugiperda, on June 13, 2020. It's the first reported catch of the Fall armyworm in Gansu Province.
According to the local plant protection department, this year's Fall armyworm occurrence time is 54 days earlier than last year (August 7, 2019).
