From October 9th to October 13th, the "10th Conference of Asia-Pacific Association of Chemical Ecologists" organized by Asia-Pacific Association of Chemical Ecologists (APACE) was successfully held in Hangzhou, Zhejiang Province. The conference was hosted by the Asia-Pacific Association of Chemical Ecologists and the Professional Committee of Chemical Ecology of the Chinese Ecological Society, and co-hosted by Zhejiang University, China Jiliang University, Tea Research Institute of Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences, and Institute of Plant Protection, Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences.
With the theme of "Chemical Ecology: Deciphering the Nature of Life Interactions", 15 topics including General Chemical Ecology, Molecular Chemical Ecology, Chemical Ecology of Invasive Species, and Plant-mediated Insect Interactions were set up to discuss the latest insect-environment interactions. The research results of chemical ecology share the thinking and understanding of insect chemical ecology from the perspective of theory and practice.
